Three brothers

three countries, three fates, three IDs

I did not choose my mother, my father, my name, birthday and place of birth, color and gender, nation and religion. Nor did I choose the laws that govern me. I was thrown into this world.

Borders do not just separate countries, cities, villages and landscapes - they also separate people. Three brothers have IDs from three different countries. The three brothers' IDs reveal nothing about their true identities. The photos in their passports show them as children, when they lived together in one family.

The installation "Three Brothers" shows how absurd the dividing lines are that are created by borders on this earth.
